of freshwater fish abound for your "catching"... You really don't need
a license or a pole... just a good idea of what you need to "catch".
Products are typically pre-packaged allowing you to select and sort
your catch. We specialize in IQF (individually
quick frozen) products that are typically processed,
packaged, and frozen with-in hours of being caught. Our facility is
licensed and inspected by the Michigan Department of Agriculture with
processing and handling using established HACCP (hazard analysis critical
control points) seafood programs and
procedures. Always featured is our fresh caught Lake Michigan Whitefish. Favorite packaging are the filleted and pin-boned portions, typically ranging from 6 to 12 ounces quick frozen and vacuum sealed. We can also supply "fish boil" portions or party packages if you are inclined to prepare your own Scandinavian traditional meal. Notice a wood smoked oder wafting in the air- we also produce smoked fish products which are available on a frequent basis. If your timing is good you might see the racks coming out of the smoker heading for the coolers. Seasonally there maybe smoked chubs mixed in with Salmon, Lake Trout, or Whitefish. Custom smoking is also available. Upon your return from a successful trip with one of our charter fishers we can process, Smoke, package, and arrange transportation of your personal catch of the day.  |
